This invitational welcomes 25 of the finest plein air painters (who work outside, not in a studio) from Hawaii and mainland USA to paint on location around Maui. Visitors have numerous opportunities to meet and talk with artists.
As well as the actual painting, the invitational presents a lecture on plein air painting, a quick draw, sunset paint-out, a gala reception and, of course, an exhibition of all the works created.
