The Harvest festivals are the most eagerly awaited celebrations in rural world. These are the annual celebrations which occur in a given region depending upon the climate and crop at that time. The most common features of harvest festivals is feasting (both family and public) with foods that are drawn from crops that come to maturity around the time of the festival. Other attractions of a harvest festival includes eating, merriment, contests, music and romance. The most renowned harvest festival in the world is Chuseok Harvest Festival of Korea.
